Cerberus is a mythical monster in Greek mythology. Its portrayal often shows it as a multi-headed dog guarding the gates of the underworld. In some myths, Cancerbero owns three heads, while in others it can have as many as nine separate heads. The term "cancerbero" is additionally used to refer to a watchful and unrelenting protector.
